What does First Night Morris County mean to you?

First Night to me is about finding a way to celebrate the New Year with friends and family in an exciting atmosphere that everyone can enjoy. First Night's tremendous variety of performances caters to all preferences at an unbelieveably affordable price. It's about community, education, and broadening our perspectives while having a really enjoyable time.

 

What makes you passionate about it?
I am passionate about First Night because of the quality event it has become. Through attending First Night Morris County as a youth, performing at the event in 2001, and now Chairing the Board of Trustees, I have seen this event from all perspectives, and I truly believe in the organization's potential to be more than just a celebration. We can be an educational experience and provide an opportunity for the community to come together and experience all that our great town and county have to offer.

 

Why do you tell people to come?
I tell people they should come to experience the wide variety of world class talent that performs atour event for a very affordable ticket price. There are two sets of fireworks, one at 9:15 and one at midnight, and we are extremely family friendly. As a non-alcoholic event, you're sure to have a great performance experience, and there is something for everyone.
