FNM365® is a community outreach initiative program, dedicated to bringing the community together, not only for New Year’s Eve but all 365 days of the year. The FNM365® motto is “Together We Can.” FNM365® in conjunction with First Night Morris County Partners, Supporters, Volunteers, Patrons, and Community Members will cross-promote community events and programs year-round.
In the coming months, look for FNM365® to continue its evolution and eventually offer tools for Partners to Cross-Promote Upcoming Community Events. It will also allow Members of the Community to connect and engage towards a common interest with a focus on bringing the community together.
The Advisory Board is an essential part of First Night Morris County. Advisory Board Member are Community and Business Leaders, former Board Members and/or Board Chairs, Current Board Members, Volunteers, Supporters, Vendors, Venues, Partners and Key Committee Members. The Advisory Board Meets 3 times a year, oversees the FNM365 Initiative and the development of new programs or initiatives.
Artists, as entrepreneurs, have a product, or idea to sell, and they need to get out into the marketplace. In order to do this, artists need (at the very least) basic business skills and a willingness to approach selling art as any entrepreneur would.
For Artists who are serious about building a sustainable career, we have partnered with the New Jersey Small Business Development Center of Northwest Jersey (NW-NJSBDC) to provide the “Artist Entrepreneurship Program.” Thanks to the NW-NJSBDC, Program Participants will have access to the online assessments, webinars, seminars, and one-on-one counseling.
For Over 25 Years First Night Morris County has brought the Community Together on New Year’s Eve. For the Past 5 Years First Night Morris County has donated over 500 Buttons (Admission) to our Annual New Year’s Eve in Downtown Morristown. The donation is done in Partnership with area Non-Profits whose service base is experiencing family hardship or unable to afford attending First Night Morris County.
Four years ago, we launched our Community Reinvestment Program (CRP), in an effort to help other non-profit organizations raise funds through First Night® Morris. This fundraising drive runs from October 21 to December 21. Community partners receive $3 per ticket ($10 per 4 Pack) when tickets are sold through their organization’s web portal.
This program is free for participating organizations and simple to do. All you need to do it complete the attached form, and email it, together with your organization’s logo to email@example.com. We will send back custom marketing materials, and your own ticket sales link. All you need to do is spread the word. That’s it.
At the Heart of First Night Morris County is the Volunteer. First Night Morris County is a 501c(3) Volunteer Non-Profit featuring a Board of Directors, Advisory Board, and 5 Committees: Fundraising, Event Operations, Marketing & Communication, Administration and Event Volunteers. Each Year over 100 Volunteers participate in various activities throughout the year to keep First Night running strong. Our Volunteer base is both diverse and talented.
To develop the next generation of Volunteer, Community and Business Leaders First Night Morris County has expanded our Volunteer Internship Program to the Economic Empowerment Program. Students from Middle School to Graduate School receive Mentorship, Training and Hands On Opportunities to Prepare them for the Future.
The Literacy Initiative is the evolution of our very successful Bookmark Program. Thanks to the Support of Jersey Central Power & Light and our dedicated Volunteers over 20,000 Bookmarks will be distributed throughout the Morris County Library System. To further encourage Literacy and a love of reading, recommended reading for Elementary School Students will be shared on our Social Media Channels throughout the year.
