Colombian jazz pianist Jesus Molina was born in Sincelejo, Colombia in 1996. Molina started playing saxophone at the age of 12 and three years later, at the age of 15, he decided to change instruments and only focus on piano. In 2016, Molina received the prestigious Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation® awards, the Juan Luis Guerra Scholarship which included a music education at renowned Berklee College of Music with all expenses paid. Today he is one of the rising stars on the international jazz scene. Molina has worked and shared stages with artists such as Jordan Rudess, Marco Minnemann, Eric Marienthal, Milton Salcedo, Gabriela Soto, Randy Brecker, John Patitucci, and many others.
